Colorado Visit

Jonathan went to Chicago for the week so the kids at I packed up and drove to Denver. I had the car packed ready to put the kids in and I walk downstairs to find this surprise.....

Thankfully we still had Mamaws carpet cleaner....so I started scrubbing. Needless to say our departure time was pushed back :)

We made it! Jagger and Creed doing what boys do best.

I took the two boys to the park while all the little ones were napping. I forgot how far away it was and had to alternate giving piggy back rides all the way there....then we called for a park pick up to get home :)

All the other moms at the park asked me if they were twins.....close enough huh

Visitors Part Uno

My older sister Tenaya (by seven years, people always ask if we are twins so I like to add the age difference :) her three kids and Grandma Afton made the trek from SLC to good ole Kansas to visit for a week and a half. We loved having visitors!

The boys spent a lot of time in the backyard gathering willow branches and then using them as fishing poles off the stairs.

We visited the farm. Creed and Tradon milked this big cow.

Aw what a good looking group of boys! Creed carried that duck purse around the entire time but in his dads defense he did refer to it as his "bag".

 Keltsy Sue was enthralled with the tiny goats.

Precious. The boys loved cuddling up together and watching shows that they aren't allowed to watch at home (sorry Tenaya you should've warned me :)

All Thanks To Nonna!

While Nonna was in town visiting we took full advantage of her and weekend on a weekend "stay-cation'. We went downtown and stayed in a nice hotel, not like the 'nice' hotels we stay in driving from KC to Denver :)

Our hotel. We ate at the Skies which is that circular part on top. It slowly spins so in the duration of our meal we saw all of downtown.

We ate at Gates BBQ. Its basically famous Tech N9ne made this rap video about it. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6CWOsRXee0)

 Their slogan is "Hi, may I help you" and the five women behind the counter would randomly scream it out with a southern twang. They might even say it while they were already helping you. It was a bazaar ordering experience.

The Zoo

Yesterday we went to the Zoo with some ward friends. Of course I didn't get any pictures of the animals just the kids playing at the zoo park. It was the perfect way to enjoy the warm spring day.

Gavin and Creed are becoming quite the duo. They play really well together.

Latest Project...

Living out here in the bread basket we need something to remind us of our long lost family. So I created a picture wall going up stairs. The kids love looking at all the pictures on their way up to bed.

'Not today Zurge' (while using his laser). When he has this shirt on he is no longer Creed he will only answer to Buzz. lol

After his fun filled birthday he got to watch one Spongebob episode before going to bed.

Night Night Pillows

The kids have been asking for 'night night pillows' on the couch. They cover up with their 'tickle blankets' and hunker down for an episode of Wonder Pets. Just a normal day :)
